We'll head down The Boardwalk for the first five miles or so -- lovely and fun.
A quick side-note for all Boardwalk haters -- We know you're out there -- you don't want to ride on The Boardwalk because you're worried about your $3,000 carbon wheels.
C'mon -- we used to race on deadly cobblestones near Paris! (OK, I actually never actually did that, but I've... uh... seen the photos...). You and your wheels will be FINE.
Sea Isle (ABOUT 23 miles into the ride) is where big things happen.
The 70- and 100-mile riders head west; the 55-mile riders continue south.
Can't decide which distance is for you? The split will be very well marked and you can decide right on the spot which way you want to go.
We're going down the shore!
Glen here, your tour director and humble servant.
Get ready for a fantastic ride that is flat, Flat, FLAT!
We'll begin on The Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ with a free start-line breakfast. (Bagels, doughnuts, fresh fruit, coffee, more coffee...) and then we're off!
(I can't guarantee deep-fried Boardwalk funnel cake that early in the morning, but I'm sure going to be looking for it! The Breakfast of Champions!)
Another swell ride from yer old pal Glen

Ride hard. Have Fun. Don't Act Like a Jerk.

Am I the only person here old enough to remember this?

The cast of Jersey Shore.
No.
Just...no.

We'll have our first official rest stop at the beach patrol headquarters in Ocean City, ABOUT 17 miles into the ride. Whether you're pedaling on The Boardwalk or the street, we'll all meet up here. We'll have pro bike repair, first aid just in case, bathrooms, water, sports drink, healthy food, junk food, a cool surprise or two...
The 30-mile cyclists split off here in the most amazing way possible. Details here.

Pedaling on The Boardwalk

Having said all that, if you really don't want to ride on The Boardwalk there are regular paved streets that run parallel and we'll have the route marked there too for you....wuss. {Yikes, did I type that or just think it?}
The legendary Paris-Roubaix race -- NOT a part of this ride!

Lucy the Elephant -- A NJ legend. Be sure to snap a photo as you pedal by!

Longport, NJ - on the way to Cape May
The Escorted Ride
New to long-distance riding? We offer optional escorted versions of the 30-, 50-, 70-, and 100-mile routes at no additional charge -- pedal with our trained leaders who will help you have a great ride. Details here.
Help On the Way
We have the best S.A.G. (bike rescue) service around anywhere. Need a hand? Too tired to go on? We have staff and vehicles all along the route. Just give us a call and we're on the way!
We Support The Community
It’s important to us to leave money behind where we ride. That’s why we donate to charities all along the route. You do not need to raise money to pedal this ride -- just pay the ride fee and you’re ready to go.
Getting Home
After you cross the finish line in Cape May in a blaze of glory... how are you getting home?
Got you covered! You can have a friend pick you up at the finish, or we offer optional transport for yor bike and you back to Atlantic City. (And from Atlantic City you can catch the bus to NYC if you wish). Details here.
